Relational Christianity

Wikis > Relational Christianity

Jesus did not start a religion in the sense that he merely taught principles or acted as an example to us.

Furthermore, to “be a Christian” doesn’t mean merely that a person has a set of mental beliefs about Jesus. Nor does “being a Christian” merely mean that a person tries to act like Jesus would want them to act. To be a Christian means that Jesus lives inside of a person. It means they are related to Jesus. It means they are a child of God.

Terms such as “born again”, “the indwelling spirit”, and “relational Christianity” are attempts to describe the life that is given to a person when they enter into true Christianity.

We are using the term “relational Christianity” as a means of contrasting true Christianity with its counterfeit: propositional Christianity
